Our First Collaborative Photoshoot

What an amazing feeling it’s been seeing everything we’ve been working on over the past few months finally come together!

Collaborative photoshoots are all about bringing different people together, to share their skills and expertise to create something beautiful, and I think we definitely achieved this last Saturday. It was a joy to see everyone share ideas, praise one another, learn from each other and leave the photoshoot feeling proud of what we have achieved.

Prior to the shoot, we spoke with Rebecca from @lunaandwild and share a moodboard showing the vision for our shoot. Rebecca was delighted to be involved and we were over the moon when we picked up her gorgeous bridal headwear. We used her handmade Flower Crown, Flower Hairpiece, and a hat with a beautiful dried flower Bridal Fedora Hat. If you're looking for unique bohemian-inspired floral hair accessories, head to lunaandwild.com to check out their range of products.

Next up we met Jack & Joel from @creekandcountryphoto on a Facebook group that brings together creatives who want to work together on wedding photoshoots. Jack & Joel said they were up for photographing and videoing the shoot and we’re extremely grateful they did, as they captured our vision in the most perfect way, we couldn’t be happier with the final photos. Jack & Joel were an absolute pleasure to work with, we felt like we’d known them for years after only minutes of the meeting. They’re down-to-earth, extremely skilled creative people who we could not recommend enough. They’ll make you feel like you have an extra friend with you on your wedding day - they’ll make you feel relaxed, make you laugh, and leave you feeling inspired. You can see some of their beautiful work on their website creekandcountryphoto.co.uk

Our fantastic make-up artist was @saraaspinallmakeup Sara was calm, organised, down-to-earth, and her final make-up was flawless. We showed Sara a moodboard prior to the photoshoot and she created the perfect look to fit in with our theme. Sara share with us her knowledge of the wedding industry and gave us some great tips. If you’re wanting to book Sara head to saraaspinallmakeup.com

Lauren from @harriettandjoel provided us with some beautiful stationery to shoot. After showing Lauren our moodboard she instantly had an idea for the theme, the colour, and the style of some stationery. We were so happy with how it all came together. Lauren has over 7 years of experience doing wedding stationery - check out some more of her work at harriettandjoel.com

We went to our local florist @livingcolourflowers to get a bouquet of flowers and a small buttonhole. We showed them the flower crowns we were going to shoot with and they made up a matching bouquet. We couldn’t have been happier (they even smelt amazing!)

Our Models @millpeach_ & Bec are a couple in real-life and the chemistry, friendship, and love they have for one another can definitely be seen within the photos. They were great to work with and helped make the day enjoyable and run smoothly. If you’re looking to book Millie & Bec for a photoshoot drop us an email at hello@urura.co.uk

Our boho decor is available as a package to hire out for your wedding. We’ve already had our first few bookings for 2023 and we are so grateful for the support we have received from so many of you already. Drop us an email at hello@urura.co.uk if you’re looking for some boho decor and we can work with you to create something beautiful.
